Company History

1889   Karl Neuer opens a leather goods store in Ludwigshafen
 
1918   Josef Rausch joins the company
 
1920   Hermann Lampert joins the company and now it is called Rausch & Lampert
 
1928   Josef Rausch leaves the company. Hermann Lampert becomes the sole owner and general manager and establishes the company name Rala (Rausch & Lampert).
 
1945   The sons Felix and Klaus Lampert support their father. Felix Lampert expands the retail business. Klaus Lampert begins a business for industrial products.
 
1988   The company moves to the current premises.

1989   100 year celebration under the motto

1993   Klaus Lampert leaves the company. Felix Lampert hands over the retail business in favor of the business for industrial products and becomes the sole owner and general manager.
 
1996   Felix Lampert is supported by his son, Jochen Lampert, in the management.

2003   The Schäufele company, which is located in Heilbronn, is taken over by the Rala group and is now named:
Rala HN GmbH& Co KG
 
2006   After over 60 years of active Rala business activities, Felix Lampert passes the general management position of the Rala group to Jochen Lampert.
 
2008   220 employees, approx. 55 Mio € annual sales, leading market position...
 
2009   Opening of a sales office in Sitges (Spain)
